Roa’a AbuNada is Regional Programme Coordinator in Jordan and Lebanon. She is a programme management and communications professional with seven years of experience across civil society, governance, media and social impact programming in Jordan and the MENA region. Roa’a combines strong operational oversight with strategic storytelling, ensuring that structured project implementation meets impactful communication. Prior to joining Alfanar, Roa’a has worked with international organizations such as IREX, and DIGNITY-Danish Institute against Torture, leading implementation on a multi-donor programmes, as well as consulting with organizations such as SVRI and Plan International, supporting communications that elevate research, influence policy, and amplify the voices of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Roa’a holds a BA in Computer Engineering and a fellowship in Women Leadership and Gender Studies from Saint Mary’s College. She is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Mass Communications from Liverpool John Moores University.
